During her career, Stela was involved in a management role in engagements primarily in financial due diligence, valuation and other M&A related services, but also internal audit, special investigations and compliance exercises. She worked for many large regional and international clients such as banks, telecoms, privatisation authorities and global private equity firms.
Some of the largest projects in which Stela has been involved are: the M&A sell-side advisory of Advent International relating to the sale of KAI Group, the financial due diligence of Globul for Telenor, the financial due diligence of Telekom Serbia for Telekom Austria, privatisations in the telecom and energy sectors in Bulgaria, vendor due diligence of a Greek pharmaceutical group and the refinancing due diligence of a Central and Eastern European TV and internet provider.
In recent years Stela was involved in a number of projects for the banking industry, including due diligence, valuation, AQR, NPL advisory, IFRS 9 implementation and forensic investigations. At the same time she continued working on transaction advisory engagements for non-financial businesses, including manufacturing, hospitality, construction and other.
