Andreas Pittakas is a Director of Baker Tilly and is located in Cyprus, Nicosia office.
Andreas is a graduate of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne with a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. Andreas became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales in 2008. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus where he has an active role through participation in the Institute Committees. He is currently a member of the Accounting Standards Committee, while previously he was a member of the Corporate Governance, Internal Audit and Risk Management Committee, the Information Technology and Consulting Services Committee and the Economic Crime and Forensic Accounting Committee. He is currently a member of the Institute’s Corporate Governance, Internal Audit and Risk Management Committee, while he previously was a member of the Information Technology and Consulting Services Committee and of the Economic Crime and Forensic Accounting Committee.

Andreas started his career in KPMG and joined Baker Tilly in 2010. He specializes in providing audit and assurance services to a range of both local and international groups, listed and privately owned. His clients are engaged in a range of sectors including beverages distribution, insurance, real estate development and retail trading. He has an extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and is also responsible for coordination of the firm’s Risk Management activities.
