CAREER OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an individual who possesses exceptional communication skills and can effectively serve as a Consulting Officer in the Restructuring Services division in our office in Nicosia. The primary focus of this role involves a heavy element of stakeholders’ management, coordinating with various authorities & teams, ensuring the proper completion of needed paperwork for execution of approved settlement & release agreements. The ideal candidate should have a background in debt collection services and a solid understanding of loan restructuring processes including Debt for Asset Swaps, discounted payoff etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage a non – performing loans portfolio and/or other type of debt recoveries, communicate and negotiate with debtors in order to reach an amicable solution.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and compile data related to payments, property expenses, and other relevant financial information, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Document Management: Providing administration support for a specific project of the Consulting Department and efficiently handle and manage different documents (e.g. tax clearance certificates, property records, statements of account and other essential paperwork).
- Stakeholders Management: Engage directly with various stakeholders such as tax authorities, municipality offices, creditors and credit servicers, Land Registry officers and other relevant parties to obtain and verify necessary documentation.
- Support to Field Operations: Collaborate closely with other team members to provide the necessary documentation and data that facilitates smooth operations.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve back-office processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field…
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must.
- Previous experience involving recovery of credit facilities, debt collection services and real estate management will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
