Baker Tilly South East Europe is delighted to announce the admission of four new partners at Baker Tilly South East Europe which is effective from January 2021.
Strengthening our team with the valuable addition of four new partners who are young professionals with the knowledge, specialisation, and passion to meet our growing client base demands across the region we operate, is our commitment to continue to grow and provide high quality services to our clients, despite the economic crisis and the impact of the global pandemic.
Namely the 4 new partners are: Andreas Pittakas – Assurance and Advisory Services, Moisis Aristidou – Assurance and Fund Services, Stela Ivancheva – Consulting and Business Advisory Services and Socrates Efstratiou – Finance Department.
Andreas Pittakas joined Baker Tilly in 2010. Andreas is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (“ICAEW”) and he holds audit practicing certificates both in Cyprus and Romania. He is the President of the Cyprus-Bulgaria Business Association. Andreas leads an Audit & Assurance Group in the Nicosia office, having a diversified portfolio of companies, operating in a variety of countries, which includes clients of various sizes ranging from large multinational groups listed in International Stock Exchanges to small single owner companies.
Moisis Aristidou joined the Assurance Department of Baker Tilly in 2012. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). He is member of the IFRS Specialists Committee of Baker Tilly International. He is the secretary of the AIF Committee of the Cyprus Investment Fund Association (CIFA) since 2013 and a member of the Board of the Cyprus – UK Business association since 2014.
Stella Ivancheva joined Baker Tilly in 2016. Stella is a Fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. She has more than 20 years of progressive transaction advisory and financial audit experience with reputable international consulting organisations. Stela has also been involved in a number of projects for the banking industry, including due diligence, valuation, AQR, NPL advisory, IFRS 9 implementation and forensic investigations.
Socrates Efstratiou has been working with Baker Tilly from 2005 to 2010 and then he worked for 7 years in other organisations. In 2017 he re-joined Baker Tilly. He is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). He has over of 16 years’ experience in financial services and he manages the finance department throughout the network of Baker Tilly South East Europe.
